Emergency Paediatric First Aid - 1 Day

This Paediatric Course provides students with the knowledge and practical competence to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations.

Course content includes;

• Role and responsibilities of a first aider.

• Contents of a paediatric first aid box.

• Assessing an emergency situation.

• CPR.

• Use of defibrillator.

• Recovery position.

• Seizure.

• Choking.

• Bleeding.

• Shock.

• Bites and stings.

• Minor injuries.

 

The qualification is assessed through a range of practical demonstrations and related oral questioning.
