Student First Aid Course
What is Student First Aid ?
​
This 3-hour Student First Aid course has been designed to fully meet the requirements set by the Department for Education in respect of first aid training for children aged 11 and over. The Department for Education recommends that secondary school students should be taught how to administer CPR, the purpose of defibrillators (AED’s) and basic treatments for common injuries. This course provides students with the opportunity to attain a nationally regulated qualification, enhance their CV in prepartion for the workplace or further education and develop valuable new life skills.

What qualification will be attained?.
Succesful students will attain a Level 2 Award in Student First Aid. This is a 3-hour classroom-based course which can be taught over half a day or 3 x 1- hour block sessions. This practical fun filled course
​covers a variety of topics.
